Podcast at Revolution G

Check out the following 45-minute podcast (42mb) I did at Revolution G where we discussed a variety of issues related to the psychology and design of MMOs.

Among other things, I talk about how I got started doing this research, the multi-layered reasons for why people play MMOs, and the social architectures of these games, such as how death mechanics can influence community norms. Other podcasts related to MMOs are available at Revolution G's podcast archive.

Your thoughts on the future of MMO design and the social architectures of these environments are most welcome.
